These Smart TVs Are All Great Pieces of Technology

Technology continues to roll forward at an incredible pace. Smart technology allows us to control our homes from locations and in ways we never realized would be possible. Everything is intermingled and our TV is no different. Gone are the days when all you could do was use a remote and watch cable. A smart TV can access the internet as well as your home applications. This gives you access to the wide world of media that is out there now. In addition, most Smart TVs will integrate to apps on your phone or through voice commands. So there’s no need to ever worry about losing your remote deep in the couch cushions ever again. There’s one issue with smart TVs though. That’s that there are quite a few on the market. Most of them are pretty good. Each have their own strengths, so you want to tailor your purchase to a TV that has the operating system you want and the features you need. Screen quality should fit your most common action, whether that’s watching movies, playing video games, or taking in live sports. All of these models are excellent options should you choose to look into a Smart TV.

main of These Smart TVs Are All Great Pieces of Technology

1 - Samsung Q80T QLED

Samsung is one of the titans in the world when it comes to Smart TVs. The Q80T is no exception to this. It features a high number of apps and is incredibly fast to navigate around the Tizen OS. You can also change the icons to make things even easier to find. Different model levels may have different Smart applications. Higher ones get the Bixby assistant that is also found in Samsung phones. To improve performance, the OS has shrunk the launch bar so you can see more apps at  once, which was a good choice. You can also watch different channels on your tv and your phone at the same time through the casting system which is surprisingly useful.

2 - LG CM (OLED)

If you’re looking for a top of the line smart tV, then this LG model is probably the one you’re going to be looking at. It’s perfectly integrated with Google Home and Alexa so you can just give voice commands and it’s going to get into things. If you stil prefer using a remote, the LG OS is still well designed. Despite the layout being seven years old, only minor tweaks have been needed because it’s so user friendly! The launch bar system to get to your features, apps and such may seem dated, but it’s dated in a good way.

3 - Hisense H9G

This is the top of the line Hisense TV and it sure looks like it. It has good 4K performance. Unlike some TV producers, Hisense will use different operating systems for different models of their TVs. This model uses Android TV, which is becoming more popular. This does make it very easy to get access to a huge number of apps. Of course, the downside to Android TV is that it’s a touch glitchy still and some bugs can pop up. In the end, this is an excellent TV for streaming and watching movies or for gaming.

4 - Sony X900H

This is an excellent smart 4k TV that competes directly with the Hisense H9G. Low input lag means that it’s a good smart TV for gamers and you can get to gaming apps easily through the interface. There is however a downside to this TV. The viewing angle is quite small. This means that it’s best to ensure that it’s not going into a room with wide viewing lanes. This model is also using Android TV as its operating system. Once you customize things properly, it will only take you about 2 seconds to get to your most used app (say, netflix or youtube).
